Häuser, Wände, Straßen, Türen, Autos. Das Porträt einer Stadt (Wien) oder die umständliche Dokumentation gegangener Wege. Wohin sie führten und wie sie beschritten wurden, bleibt im Unklaren. Dabei entstanden ist eine Bildersammlung, die in all ihren Teilen von der titelgebenden Figur bestimmt wird. Und das ist alles, was mit Sicherheit darüber gesagt werden kann.
Three hundred and sixty images, numbered in order of creation, or: A triangular story, collected views of a peculiar symbol. Houses, walls, streets, doors, cars, the portrait of a city (Vienna) or the awkward documentation of paths taken. Where these may have led and how they were followed remains unclear. Whether following a trail or wandering aimlessly, whether taking notes as a (supposed) surveyor or as a collector – in the end there are 360 images, all of which are determined by the titular figure. And that is all that can be said with certainty about it.
